My Dad
I remember when I was so small,
My memory, I do recall…
That you were my dad and I loved you so,
And I still do, and will forever, I know.
I am thankful to God for giving you to me,
You are the best dad and always will be.
I love how you say, “I love you.”
I hope that it makes you smile, when I say it too.
Our life has not been fancy,
but love it does hold.
And to the end of our days,
may it be filled with more love, greater than gold!
